Senior Pastor
Pastor Dominick Cotignola
Pastor Dominick J. Cotignola has been the Senior Pastor of Bellerose Assembly of God since April of 2004. Pastor Dom came to Bellerose in May of 1998, and has served as Youth and Young Adult Pastor as well as Associate Pastor prior to becoming the Senior Pastor.
Pastor Dom has a passion to reach people with a message of hope that comes from a relationship with Jesus. His vision is that Bellerose Assembly of God will be a blessing and influence for God within the “20 mile radius” of the church. He knows and always reminds the congregation that "The Best Is Yet to Come” and considers Jeremiah 29:11 to be one of his favorite verses from the Bible, which tells us that the plans God has for us are good…plans that give us hope and a future. Pastor Dom was born and raised in Queens, New York, is a graduate of The University of Valley Forge in Pennsylvania and currently lives in the Bellerose area with his wife Rachel and their three children.
Rachel Cotignola
Rachel Cotignola is the wife of our Senior Pastor and is also a graduate of the University of Valley Forge, with her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.
Rachel taught for ten years until she felt a calling from the Lord to stay home with her young children, and take a greater role in the ministry with her husband. She leads the Women's In the Mix. The name represents the fact that women of all ages and backgrounds can come together as one to grow and learn so that they can become all God has destined them to be. Under her leadership the group has grown and truly become a highlight for the women of Bellerose. She had her preaching debut on Mother's Day 2010, the main focus of her ministry is having intimacy with Christ and a love and application for the word of God.
Together with our Pastor, they make a fantastic team in life and in the ministry. As the church continues to grow, so does the ministry and leadership of our Pastor's wife. Rachel loves to have a hot cup of coffee, travel with her family, enjoy all the cultures of Bellerose and most of all laugh. She lives by Proverbs 17:22 which says, "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."
