A native of College Point, Queens, Pastor Kevin Bateman now serves as an Associate Pastor at Bellerose Assembly of God with a passion for reaching today’s Youth and Young Adult population with the awesome, life-changing message of the power in accepting Jesus Christ.

Pastor Kevin is a graduate of Pennsylvania’s University of Valley Forge, where he was involved with inner-city youth ministry in Center City, Philadelphia. Today, he ministers to the people of Bellerose and its surrounding communities, where he has served since 2002. “PK”, as he is affectionately called, is known for his disarmingly laid-back candor, and somehow always managing to land the role of “Jesus” in almost all church performances and sermon illustrations!

With a deep burden to take the Salvation message to the ends of the Earth, Pastor Kevin has a heart for the cause of Missions, having both coordinated and served on several short-term trips to countries like Zambia, Malawi, Russia and Argentina, to name a few.

Here in Queens, he is working to raise up college students to reach their local mission fields, through on-campus outreach efforts. Overseeing our church’s Marriage Ministry along with his wife, Heidi, Pastor Kevin also counsels and ministers to couples through monthly gatherings with couples of all ages.

Residing in Bellerose Pastor Kevin and Heidi also recently welcomed their first child. They look forward to continuing their growth in ministry here at Bellerose Assembly of God.
